Powered by fully sealed 12-volt DC motors, our actuators raise and lower the tabs using a heavy-duty mechanical gear
system. Faster, more responsive and easier to install than hydraulic systems, they are also quieter than other
electro-mechanical actuators on the market.

TRIM TAB SELECTION
Not all boats are created equal, especially in the transom area. Some have shallow transoms. Others have multiple
outboards or swim platforms that can limit the available transom space for Trim Tabs. Minn Kota has two different
actuators. Standard-Stroke has a retractable length of 11.50" and the Short-Stroke 10.25"

Minimum transom height for standard stroke-actuator 12" and for short-stroke 11"

Minn Kota has six different sizes of trim tabs suitable for boats between 14 to 46 Ft.
The right tab size for your boat will be determined by a number of factors, including boat length and weight. The larger
the tab size, the more lift they create. As a rule of thumb, go with the largest tab size that your transom will accommodate.

Basic Rocker Switch

Independently position each tab up and down
with our Basic Rocker Switch. Its sealed,
urethane-encapsulated design is completely
waterproof and the front panel is saltwater
tested and UV resistant for years of reliability.
And with a 3" x 3" footprint, the Basic Rocker
Switch can easily replace your old switches.

The switch modules include the switch panel,
25' of cable and a waterproof control module
that ties the actuators and the switch together.
Carries Minn Kota's three-year warranty.

Indicator Switch

Our Indicator Switch lets you control tabs
independently or simultaneously, check tab
position instantly on an LED readout and take
one-touch control with the auto up/down
feature. It includes a trim range (0º - 20º). The
switch is completely sealed and features an
IP68-rated waterproof connector for years of
dependable performance.

The 3" x 3" footprint of this switch makes it
an easy replacement for your existing
switches. Includes 25' of sealed network
cable and is backed up with Minn Kota’s
three-year warranty.
